The Rainy Day That Changed Mango’s Life
Every evening, a little boy named Tom would bring a bowl of warm milk and some cat food to the alley behind his house. There, three stray cats—a tabby with bright green eyes, a black one with white paws, and a fluffy orange kitten—would wait for him quietly.
Tom learned that the cats were abandoned by their owner. He started building a small shelter with cardboard boxes and old blankets for them to keep warm on cold nights. The cats gradually became familiar with him and would rub against his legs when he arrived.
One rainy day, Tom found the orange kitten shivering under a bush. He gently picked it up and took it home. His parents agreed to let him adopt it, and Tom named it Mango. Now, Mango lives happily with Tom, while he still feeds the other two cats every day.
